Seesmic Sets my heart all a Twitter.
Seesmic, how doeth my heartheth loveth thee? Let me count the ways.
- I loveth thy User Groups that help me keep my weird friends separate from the normal ones
- I loveth how you recognize all my multiple personalities and keep them all in one stream
- I loveth how you let me search the Twitter Universe to find more lovers
- I loveth how I can post a picture with such simplicity
- And I loveth how I can see only what I want to see and in the order I want it.
Enough with the stupid bad Shakespeare.
It only took me a few minutes to realize the value of Seesmic’s new Twitter Desktop Application. It took me an hour to figure out how to best utilize it and set it up the way I wanted, but I’ll gain back that time quick enough.
I’m one of those individuals that happens to have multiple Twitter accounts and was getting a bit tired of logging on and off of Tweetdeck or having to log directly into Twitter to keep up with my niche accounts. With Seesmic, I get most of the benefits of Tweetdeck but can also see all my Twitter accounts in one very efficient desktop application. Sweet!
My only gripe so far is the process of adding friends to your User Lists. Slow and tedious. They need to come up with a better and faster way to sort friends but again once it’s set up it all works great.
I’ll be adding to this post as I have more time to play with/break Seesmic.
Update: I’ve run into a few bugs with Seesmic but I’m still loving it and looking for more features to be added. The deal breaker that has caused me to to move from Tweetdeck is the ability to track multiple accounts. Mashable has posted a head-to-head review of both Tweetdeck and Seesmic that I would highly recommend.

Great review Karen ~ I’m in! I love the fact that you can track multiple Twitter accounts with Seesmic. I’ll check it out and share my notes.
